RHEIR Construction Privacy Policy
Scope
This policy describes how the RHEIR Construction iOS app ("RHEIR" or "the app") handles information. RHEIR helps contractors organize construction projects, job records, receipts, labor, budgets, tasks, and related materials. This policy does not replace Apple's privacy notices for the Apple services the app uses.
Information RHEIR handles
RHEIR handles information that you provide or create in the app, including:
- Account and organization information: your Sign in with Apple user identifier, email address or Apple private relay address, name when Apple supplies it, organization name and identifier, app role, app version, and a device identifier associated with organization setup.
- Project and client information: project names and descriptions; client names, email addresses, phone numbers, billing or job-site addresses, and notes; project dates, status, assignments, budgets, cost estimates, payment milestones, schedules, checklists, questionnaires, shopping lists, change orders, communications, and related project records.
- Team and labor information: worker names, email addresses, job titles, rates, assignments, hours, break times, approval and payment records, and any optional employment, contact, emergency-contact, tax-document, or notes fields that a user chooses to enter.
- Receipt, vendor, and expense information: vendor details, receipt dates and amounts, line items, categories, taxes, discounts, notes, tags, receipt numbers, refund or exception information, and user-entered payment-method labels, types, masked account information, or last four digits. RHEIR does not use those project payment-method fields to process payments.
- Photos, scans, and documents: receipt images, progress and task photos, scanned receipt text, document names and metadata, attachments, captions, and links between those materials and a project record.
- App preferences and local state: selected organization and project, map preference, notification and backup preferences, receipt-scanner preferences, session state, and other settings needed to restore and operate the app.
You decide what construction, client, team, and financial records to enter. Please avoid adding information that is not needed for your work.
How information is used
RHEIR uses this information to authenticate you, restore your working session, organize and calculate project records, track tasks and progress, reconcile budgets and receipts, calculate labor and payment totals, generate reports or exports you request, synchronize supported records, preserve offline access, provide subscription access, and troubleshoot app operation.
Receipt scanning and text recognition use Apple's on-device camera, document-scanning, and Vision technologies. The current production release does not expose the legacy third-party AI-key integration contained in older development surfaces.
Where information is stored
RHEIR is designed to keep working data locally on your device and to synchronize supported data through Apple's iCloud and CloudKit services. Local copies may be stored in the app's private container, including app preferences, JSON project records, and image files. CloudKit records may include account, organization, project, team-member, project-assignment, and photo information. Project records synchronized to CloudKit can include their related tasks, receipts, labor records, notes, documents, and other project content.
CloudKit data is stored in Apple's infrastructure under the app's CloudKit container and associated with your iCloud account. It is not published as a public webpage. The current streamlined release hides collaboration controls, but records can remain associated with an organization created for the signed-in user.
Apple services
- Sign in with Apple authenticates the account and may provide RHEIR with your Apple user identifier, name, and email or private relay address.
- iCloud and CloudKit store and synchronize supported account, organization, project, team, and photo records.
- StoreKit and the App Store load subscription products, process purchases and restores, verify transactions, and report entitlement, expiration, or revocation status to the app.
- Apple camera, photo-picker, document-scanner, and Vision frameworks let you capture or select project images and scan receipts when you choose those actions.
Apple processes information under its own terms and privacy policies. RHEIR does not receive your full payment-card number from an App Store subscription purchase. Apple may provide the app with product and verified transaction information needed to determine subscription access, and may make purchase or refund reporting available to the developer.

Third parties, analytics, advertising, and tracking
The audited production wiring uses Apple services described above. RHEIR does not include a third-party analytics SDK, advertising SDK, or third-party tracking SDK, and the current production runtime is not connected to a developer-operated account or project-data server. RHEIR does not sell user data.
Those app-side statements describe RHEIR, not this website. The iT Factor website may use site analytics to understand website usage and improve the website experience. That website processing does not mean the RHEIR app contains analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. See the iT Factor website Privacy Policy for the site's broader privacy disclosure.
If you use an iOS share sheet, export a file, open a map destination, or otherwise choose to send information to another app or service, that destination processes the information under its own privacy terms.
Permissions and choices
RHEIR requests camera access when you choose to photograph project work or scan a receipt, and photo-library access when you choose an existing image. You can deny or later change those permissions in iOS Settings, but the related capture or selection feature will not work without access. File access occurs when you choose a document or export destination through an Apple system interface.
You can edit many records, remove individual content where a delete control is presented, stop adding new data, sign out, or delete the app. Signing out does not delete cloud data. Deleting the app removes its app container from that device but does not by itself delete CloudKit records or Apple's App Store transaction history.
Sharing
RHEIR shares app data with Apple as needed for Sign in with Apple, CloudKit synchronization, and StoreKit purchases. The current streamlined release does not publish project data or expose ordinary collaboration controls. Information can also leave RHEIR when you deliberately export, share, or open it in another app.
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect users or the service, or in connection with a lawful transfer of the app, subject to applicable requirements. No such disclosure changes your Apple service settings.
Retention and deletion
Local records remain on a device until they are changed or deleted in the app, cleared through an available control, or removed with the app. CloudKit records may remain in iCloud until they are deleted through an applicable app or Apple control, or until an account-level deletion request is completed. RHEIR does not apply a verified fixed retention period to every category of project data.
Some in-app deletion actions remove a local record or update its containing project, and photo deletion functions can remove supported CloudKit photo records. The current release does not provide one confirmed in-app control that deletes every account, organization, project, and transaction record at once. For help accessing or deleting RHEIR data, email support@itfactor.studio. We may need enough information to verify the request and locate records, but please do not send passwords, full payment-card numbers, or unnecessary sensitive project information by email.
Apple controls retention and deletion of Sign in with Apple, iCloud, CloudKit infrastructure, and App Store transaction records under Apple's policies and account controls.
Access and export
RHEIR can generate certain PDF or JSON reports and exports and can present Apple's share sheet for destinations you choose. Not every screen is available in the current streamlined release, and the app does not currently provide a single complete self-service export of every local and CloudKit record. Contact support for access or portability help.
Security
RHEIR uses the app sandbox and Apple's authentication, iCloud, CloudKit, and StoreKit frameworks to limit access and support data integrity. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and this policy does not promise absolute security. Protect your device, Apple Account, and any files you export, especially when project records contain client, worker, or financial information.
Children's privacy
RHEIR is a construction business tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly design the app to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through RHEIR, contact us so the situation can be reviewed.
Policy changes
This policy may be updated when RHEIR's features, data handling, or legal requirements change. A revised policy will show a new effective date on this page.
